As our 2018 Q2 charity we are supporting The Brain Tumour Charity

This Charity was chosen by our Group HR Manager Dominic Lyndon.

Dominic is running a 30k in the mountains of Whistler, Canada, in memory of his friend Sophie Edwards, who passed away in November 2016.

The idea for this race was originally a challenge to coincide with Sophie’s very own challenge in learning how to walk again; a way they could motivate each other along the way.  Unfortunately Sophie never got the opportunity to finish her challenge so this one is for her.

Many people are unaware that brain tumours are the main cause of cancer deaths of people under the age of 40.  With only a 20% survival rate past 5 years of diagnosis.  Something The Brain Tumour Charity are at the forefront of trying to change while also providing support for people with brain tumours.

Any donations would be massively appreciated by Sophie’s friends, family and the Brain Tumour Charity.

If you do anything today, please take a couple minutes to check out their website, learn something you didn’t know and see the amazing work they are doing to fight them-
